Meet Dorothy Gregson
Dorothy Gregson brings experience of the civil service, policing and public health. During the COVID-19 pandemic she was the Eastern Regions’ Deputy and then Acting Regional Director of Public Health. Prior to this, she was the Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and also had a stint as chair of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough’s Public Service Board.
Dorothy is no stranger to the NHS in Cambridgeshire having completed her medical training at Addenbrooke's hospital, and having been Cambridge City, then South Cambridgeshire Primary Care Trust’s, Director of Public Health.
Dorothy is a Non-Executive Member and Chair of the Quality, Performance and Finance Committee. Dorothy is also Deputy Chair and Senior Independent Member.
