Training Hub
Find out about the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Training Hub, here to support colleagues in Primary Care.
The aim of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub is to support the delivery of a workforce capable of meeting the needs of our local population’s health and improving clinical outcomes.
The Training Hub is funded via Health Education England (HEE) and NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The Training Hub is made up of three is made up of three Community Provider Education Networks (CEPNs) from each locality – Cambridge and Ely, Huntingdon and Fenland and Greater Peterborough. In order to maximise their impact these CEPNs decided to pool their resources and form one central ‘Training Hub’ working at scale across the locality.
Representatives from each CEPN, including Practice Managers, General Practice Nurses and GPs, sit on the steering group along with wider stakeholders such as NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
In collaboration with NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, the Training Hub will be assisting in the delivery of the workforce programme as part of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough GP Forward View Primary Care strategy to support training and education for local primary care staff.

The Training Hub have launched their own website which will act as a one stop shop for training, development, placements and general promotion of primary care in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
You will also find a dedicated GP Support Hub page which focuses on the delivery of local training, schemes and initiatives which will enable GPs to remain in or return to clinical general practice.
