Meet Jan Thomas

An experienced healthcare leader, Jan Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough (our  Integrated Care Board), part of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System.

She is responsible for overseeing the commissioning, performance, financial management and transformation of the local NHS, as part of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System.

Jan has over 25 years of experience working in and with the NHS. Starting her career as a nurse, she worked in acute NHS hospitals and has heldsenior roles in private sector healthcare organisations and the NHS.  

Jan is committed to ensuring local people receive the best possible care, putting patients and communities at the heart of commissioning decisions and tackling inequalities.
