As many of us get ready to celebrate the holidays with our loved ones, we want to say a big thank you to all of the health and care staff who will be working throughout the holidays to keep local people safe and healthy. 

Local health and care services will continue to run throughout the festive period, thanks to the incredible work of teams across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Royston. From care home workers and pharmacists, to hospital porters and midwives, thousands of brilliant staff are doing their part to look after local communities over the holidays. 

Jan Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, said:
