Let's Talk: Royston update

Following an extensive engagement campaign in Royston, positive steps have been made to improve the experiences of health and care services in and around the town.

Last year, nearly 1,800 people took the time to share their experiences and ideas about health and care services in the area as part of the Let’s Talk Royston campaign. Feedback was gathered through online surveys, community groups and meetings, and a post-engagement report was published which is available to read online.

Local health and care partners have since reviewed the feedback in more detail and taken positive actions to improve residents’ experiences of health and care services.

Improvements include the recruitment of 22 members of staff including GPs across the three Royston practices, increasing the number of appointments available and introducing new systems for better access to online services and appointments.

This summary infographic shares the changes made so far and we will continue to work with the local community to improve people’s experiences of local services.
